Why a British breakfast, and why here
Canggu wakes up early. Surfers come in from Batu Bolong with salt in their hair, laptop crews settle in before the heat, and families need something that keeps everyone happy until lunch. We opened Roasted because we missed the kind of breakfast that does all of that at once: a hot, generous plate, a proper cup of tea, and nobody rushing you out.
So we are building the menu around the classics we grew up on. Sausages with real snap. Streaky bacon grilled until the edges crisp. Black pudding, beans that have been simmered rather than just warmed, and a hash brown that crunches. Every one of them cooked with the same care we give the coffee, because a great breakfast in Canggu should not be a compromise.
The Full Roasted
Our full English will be the plate that makes our name. Two free-range eggs cooked your way, British-style pork sausages, streaky bacon, black pudding, baked beans, a grilled tomato, buttered mushrooms, a hash brown and thick toasted sourdough. Prefer no meat? The Full Veggie swaps in grilled halloumi, smashed avocado and wilted spinach.
Brunch in Canggu, done properly
If brunch is more your pace, the eggs are where to look. Eggs Benedict on a toasted English muffin with a lemony hollandaise, Smashed Avo on Sourdough with poached eggs, and a tall stack of Buttermilk Pancakes with berries and warm maple. For something more traditional, Kippers on Toast or Bubble & Squeak with a fried egg and our own brown sauce.
